End of Support
31 July 2026

Support Closes: Technical support and self-service license management (seat transfers and re-registrations) end.

Official End of Life
31 Dec 2026

Cloud Cut-Off: Revu 20 loses all connection to Studio Sessions, Studio Projects, and related API integrations.

Understanding the Impact

What Happens If You Stay on Revu 20?

While installed desktop applications continue to run locally, key administrative features and cloud collaboration will permanently shut down.

Licensing & Transfer Cut-Off

After 31 July 2026, Bluebeam’s legacy licensing servers will close. If a computer crashes, an OS update corrupts the install, or a user gets a new PC, seats cannot be transferred or re-registered.

Loss of Studio Access

After 31 December 2026, Revu 20 will no longer connect to Studio. You will be locked out of Studio Sessions and hosted Projects, cutting off real-time collaboration with project partners.

Revu 20 EOL & Migration Details

Revu 20 is replaced by Revu 21, which is fully supported and delivered via Bluebeam subscription plans (Basics, Core, Complete, or Max).

Subscriptions provide access to Revu 21 desktop, Bluebeam Cloud (web & mobile), and active Studio features under a single named-user login.

Yes, Revu 20 will still run locally on the machine it is currently installed on. However, note the key milestones:

  • After 31 July 2026: License transfers, seat releases, and re-registrations on new hardware are no longer supported.
  • After 31 December 2026: All connectivity to Studio Sessions and Studio Projects will permanently cease.

Revu 20 will lose all access to Studio cloud servers. To prepare:

  • Studio Projects: Download local backup copies of all project folders before the cut-off. After 31 Dec 2026, opening cloud projects requires a supported version (Revu 21).
  • Studio Sessions: Finalize active sessions and export markup summaries. Inactive sessions are permanently deleted after 180 days.

Per Bluebeam's Terms of Use, customers who convert their perpetual Revu 20 licenses to a Revu 21 subscription cannot run the legacy perpetual licenses concurrently with their new subscription seats once converted.

TCS CAD provides full-lifecycle support: we evaluate your existing seat allocations, configure your Bluebeam Org Admin Portal and Single Sign-On (SSO), package the Revu 21 deployment, and deliver custom team training.
